I invested in The Pet Pantry, and it wasn't until afterwards that I realized that it really was a scam. I originally spoke to Sue McPherson, in franchise development. She told me that all I needed to invest was about $40,000. No walk the park, but once I got in, it was more like $80,000.

I was told that I would be given 250-500 customers with orders during start up, my wife could not understand why they would give me buyers, but Sue explained they make their money off of merchandise, and out of the initial fee I was paying, they made nothing off of that. I was told that this business was so in-demand because we deliver the goods for free and have natural ingredients in the dog and cat food and they come in neat storage systems that clients get to keep so food stays fresh. She gave me some people to talk to, other people working this business. They told me all was great, and they were making lots of $$$. None of the supposed leads had sales experience, which was good for me, because I didn't have any myself either.

There was a number of promises not met. 1, Support, 2 marketing programs, 3 training. The training was in Carson city, Nevada but merely information I could have got out of a business book for dummies for $35.00. 4, The business coach I was given had no clue what she was doing, so I asked for another one. He had no clue, and didn't answer my emails promptly.

I had to get a van, 700 sq ft of storage space, and although I like the product, being an animal lover, I didn't like the high cost of the products from The Pet Pantry. That was not what Sue promised me. Also, lifting 50lb bags of goods killed my back. I had to miss work and go to the chiropractor. There was no way me and my wife could run this ourselves, even with dollies. Heavy lifting and no little money coming in.

Oh I was getting to that. I made about $154 in the 7 months of my business. The set up buyers were no good, and not interested.

Clearly they are a scam, I lost a lot of money here, and I now have to fight them in court

The Pet Pantry is unbelievable, I guess what's more unbelievable is that I fell for their line of crap. They put it in a nice red ribbon and you tihnk you are buying into a great business op and as it turns out you aren't. I spoke with a Wade who gave me their "Referrals". These people were doing so good they had to hire more people to work for them. Now I am about a year and a half into the business and not one of the "customers" they provided has purchased anything from me. I've been looking for customers on my own and made about $300.
