On 12-26-2017 I ordered a portable signal jammer from The Signal Jammer website. It arrived in a reasonably timely manor considering it was being shipped from China. Within a day or two, I got it all set up to start testing it's use in my house. I placed it in a room in my house that has the dimensions of approximately 12-feet by 12-feet. The unit worked great. I stepped outside the room into the ajoining room, and the power of this unit was unable to reach beyond the 12-foot range of the room it was in. I have good power, and my home is only 5 years old. There are no electrical, steel, or other obstructions that would interfere with the radio propagation of this jammer. I can't belive that the signal was only good for 12 feet, so I sent a letter to the customer service dpeartment and a man named Carl responded. Carl had indicated that something must be wrong with the unit because it should transmit much further than just 12 feet. After several letters, on January 16th, I finally got permission to ship it back to China at MY expense...of $135.75. I nearly had a heart attack. It took an additional week to get an actual return authorization form them.They told me they would give me a $50 upgraded unit to compensate me. Sorry, but $50 doesn't cover my costs when they ship me a defective product. If it's their defective product, there is no reason why I should have to pay for these outrageous fees. If they would have shipped me a properly working unit to begin with, I wouldn't be getting this upset. I was very nice to them because I didn't want to get ripped off any further. I shipped it back and watched the tracking very carefully. I shipped it on January 25th and it was delivered on Tuesday January 30th, 5 days after I shipped it.
I had sent incalculable emails to "Carl" over the next several weeks asking for tracking on the replacement equipment. He just kept giving me one excuse after the next on why they weren't shipping the unit. It wasn't until March 19th...almost 2 months later, that they finally shipped the package to me which arrived on march 22nd. I brought it home and went to test it as soon as I got in the door. No power. DOA. They don't even test this stuff before shipping it overseas (they tell you they do...but if they did, it would work). I got my electfical tester out and tested the 12-volt power supply which tested bad. I sent "Carl" another email letting him know that I have another defective part. He responded to my email by telling me that I am full of BS He actually sounded irritated with me in his email...yet he is the one who sent me another defective product. If he would send me working equipment, he would be getting letters of praise...not letters of dismay. He said he was going to send me a new power supply, and just to make my point, I told him that I would ship the old one back...to prove that I wasn't full of BS like he told me I was.
I do not recommend making your purchases through this company for a number of reasons.
1. They do not test their equipment before shipping overseas (happened twice to me...you can't make this sh* up!)
2. They don't have a phone number to call anyone
3. If the product is defective, it's your problem and you will have to pay $135 just to teturn it to them. (personally, you should be allowed to throw it in the garbage.) Additioanlly, they have no address in the domestic USA to send anything to.
4. They are very slow at taking care of any issues...and when I say "slow"...I mean MONTHS. If I took months to take care of my customer issues, I'd be out of a job.
5. When they are faced with their own defective products, they tell you that you are full of BS instead of making things right and apologizing.
PLEASE....look for a different company. I wish I could just get every penny back that I had to spend and find a different manufacturer.
To this day, I still don't even know if the actual unit they shipped me works. I imagine that it will be another month or two before I get a replacement power supply.
