The StarDial Group Christopher Neely, Scammed Artists and Investors with a Faux Talent Showcase, then Filed Criminal Charges Against Me Once I alerted Others of his deception New York, New York
I met Christopher Neely outside of a fashion show at the 40/40 Club in New York. He claimed to be a big time record executive. He drives a Lincoln so I somewhat doubted it. He introduce me to someone that he claimed was "P. Diddy" right hand man.
He bragged that he was going to be the first African American male to license a lingerie deal with Louis Vuitton. He told me that he had a business deal with Russell Simmons and Russell would be at his yacht party. I googled the event and it was a 2 hour boat ride with $20 admission so I was done with Christopher.
He took me to a $600,000 condo in Harlem that he claimed was his. Later, I find out that it belongs to a woman that he was dating. All he did was lie! I separated myself from him then he claimed to be in love with me.
I noticed that all his clothes and shoes were in the trunk of his car. He tells me that he is married and homeless. He says he is getting a divorce.
He knew that I went to school for business so he constantly asked me to be his secretary. I am beyond overqualified to be his secretary but he begged me. He did not have a job but he had the opportunity to do promotions for Escape 123 Restaurant & Lounge in the Bronx.
Escape 123 Restaurant has a Thursday night karaoke that he was hired to promote. Instead of saying he was promoting karaoke, he makes phone calls and sends emails to various artists, singers, dancers and comedians saying, " I am having this talent showcase. EMI Records will be there. The Source and XXL will be there looking for talent. I have investors coming that want to donate. The owner, Elvis will pay you for your services".
He told various investors, including a female entrepreneur with 5 small children, " for $200, you can have your company's name on our banner for 5 weeks". Everything he said was false. There were no record companies, publications or anyone coming nor was there any banner. He know all of this yet he continued to take money for investors. He pocketed all the money.
He failed to pay me for my service. His company, The Stardial Group, is not a real company nor is it registered with the state of New York. I created flyers, online flyers, grand opening letter, solicitation letters, drafted his contracts and contacted more than 400 to advertise his event. He wrote a contract which was in my possession where he agreed to pay me. I constantly asked, " where is my money. I need to pay my rent". His exact words were, " once I get more money from investors, I will pay you".
On October 2, he spent a night at my house. On the morning of October 3, I woke up to find him going through my things. He had my contract in his hand. He stated, " I want to take this to re-write it. I want to put it on nicer paper". I told him, " no it is fine, the way that it is". He ended up stealing the contract from my apartment. I tried to contact regarding my payment and the stolen contract but he did not pick up my calls.
I then emailed everyone regarding his scam. Noone was surpised that he was scamming them. Christopher Neely called me and said, " you dumb b***h. you broke b***h. you piece of doo doo b***h. Contact all the people that you want. Something bad is going to happen to you and when it does know that I did b***h".
I told him that I was suing him for unpaid fees. On Friday October 5, I get a call from a detective from the 24th precinct stating that I will be arrested for sending out email regarding Christopher's scam. Christopher Neely went to the police station and claimed that the emails that exposed his scam were harassment. I am scheduled to be arrested tomorrow.
