I searched this site and didn't see anything on this place yet so I thought everybody should be warned!

I bought a Chevy Blazer off this idiot in Febuary of 2004. I had just gotten my permit and took two licensed friends along who were pretty knowlegable about used cars.

We took it for a test drive and it ran flawlessly! When I came back to the dealership, the fast talking salesman told me I didn't have enough money but he'd see what he could do to lower the price. Before I knew what happened, he had suckered me into dropping the most important thing, the warranty! He told me that was such a good running vehicle, I wouldn't need it and even if something were to happen, he would stand behind it since he sold it to me!

We drove it around all that day and into the next when it started to develope a strong fuel odor. I asked a good friend of mine who is a master mechanic what it could be. I was told it was one of two things. Either the EGR valve is bad or the "spider" inside the fuel injector is shot! Either way, it was going to cost to get fixed!

When I went back to make my first payment, I told the salesman about the problem and he told me "It's not either of those things! I don't believe that! That's a good truck! It's probably a bad plug or the injectors need cleaned!". I made a few more payments after that and finally took it to a mechanic who told me there was alot more wrong with it then that! The alarm system had been rigged in and not done right! There is electrical problems, and the brakes are not right! When driving it home from the mechanic, the master cylinder went bad and I almost got into an accident.

I went back to the dealer in August of 04 to make a payment and told the salesman what all was wrong with it. He then told me that he would rather have that truck then any car on his lot! He was willing to trade me that truck even up for anything he had on the lot! He would just have his mechanic come over and take the truck when I got back from vacation and I could come get my car! At the time, he had a really nice 1999 Cavalier that we agreed to trade for! All I had to do was call the mechanic when I came back and schedule him to come out!

I came home Sept 5th and called twice a week for the next month and each time the mechanic was conveniently never there! I went back in to make a payment in the first week of October and there was a different guy there. After making my payment, I asked him where the other guy was. All he said was he wasn't there. I then told him about the deal we had and noticed the Cavalier was gone but there was a really nice 1996 Grand Prix there that I would be willing to trade. He then told me the other sales man "Sean" no longer worked there and niether did the mechanic "Vinnie"

After telling me they no longer worked there, he proceeded to tell me any deals I had with him couldn't be done! He'd be willing to look at the truck as a trade but there was no way him or his partners would allow him to trade even up for a broken down junk truck like mine for a nice car like that Grand Prix! He may be able to give me 500 for it if I was lucky! HEY! YOU SOLD ME THAT BROKEN DOWN JUNK TRUCK!!

The next time I went in to make a payment, as I was walking through the lot, I saw Vinnie working on a car behind the office. I went in and waited for somebody to come in and take my payment when guess who walks through the door but Sean! I gave him my payment and he told me that I paid 4100 of the original 4800 dollars I owed. I asked him if he had quit and he told me no! He couldn't imagine why anybody would tell me that! He was only on vacation! He then asked me if I was still having problems with my truck! I just walked out!

That was a year ago! I haven't made anymore payments and I haven't heard a word from that dealership! In a week or so, I'm going back to finish paying the last 700 I owe them and I'm going to be forced to get the truck fixed on my own as my car died on me this week! I would rather give them what they gave me, NOTHING! In fact, I'd like to sue them for all the money I've spent this year on bus passes, doctor bills for being stuck in the cold, pain and suffering, and the amount I've paid them for the truck!

Stay away from this dealership! They are no good!

the Zoo Auto sales sells stolen vehichles, and Lemons! you should report them to the (i think thats mckeesport's jurisdiction now) mckeesport or state police my dad had one of his most embarrassing moments while driving away with an almost BRAND SPANKIN "LIKE NEW" condition 99'caddilac STS and it broke down at the red light 3mins after we left the lot (at the intersection of hartman and 5th ave going towards mckeesport highschool). my dad raised hell and got his money back though, and then two months later , because the title had BRIEFLY been put in my dads name, the police took him in for questioning because they thought he had stolen the car! i bought my car from a "certified" dealership and not from a rust salesman. stay away from those guys, especially the short fat one with curly bronish hair, he would sell you a soap box wheels on it if he could! -Danny H. former mckeesport resident New Castle PA.
