This company had an ad on http://evansville.craigslist.org/edu/1270023260.html for a teaching job. The reply email was [email protected]. I assumed this was for La Petite Academy, a local company, so I submitted my resume to that email address. I got a reply wanting me to fill out an application at http://thecareer-hub.com/?137863
Well it looked suspicious so I didn't fill out any information on that site. Instead I googled and found the real website for La Petite Academy and submitted my resume to them directly.
This morning I received a call from (646) 360-1692 to my cell phone. Why they would choose to call my cell phone instead of home, I don't know, seems stupid to me. Anyway, I let it go to voicemail because I don't like wasting my minutes when I don't know who is calling.
Then I got a voicemail from Jessica at Career Networks telling me they have been trying to reach me for an application I submitted for a company that is confidential.
I found the local phone number for La Petite Academy and called and asked them if use Career Networks as HR and she said that they did not. So I went back to La Petite Academy's website and sent them the information about this ad and scam that is being done with their name.
