If you're ordering Floam for your child, be aware of the kind of company you're dealing with. When you go to the website, the very first thing you have to do is give your credit card info -- most legitimate businesses ask for this last, after you've made your buying decision and confirmed your order. On floam.com you're locked in as soon as you give your credit card info.

After you've given your credit card info, they ask you if you want to buy the 4 tubs of Floam advertised on TV for $19.99. Once you've committed to that, they tell you that for $24.99 you can get 6 tubs of Floam. BEWARE! This is not 6 tubs instead of the 4 tubs -- it's 6 tubs in addition to the 4 tubs. Very misleading! Once you realize what you've just signed up for, there's no way to change it. You're committed. And they charge you two shipping charges as if it's two separate orders.

Once I got through all this I tried calling the 800 number to change the order. There's a recorded message there that gives you a toll number (920-966-6600) to call regarding current orders. I tried calling several times to cancel the order and never got through to a human -- it the meantime my phone bill was going up.

Finally, a month after I placed the original order I sent an email requesting the status -- it took them 4 full weeks to respond to that request. An even though I gave them the order number they had provided me, they couldn't provide me any information using that number.

$60 later I did finally receive my 10 tubs of Floam.

I had the same experience regarding the credit card inoformation first when I called to order floam for my Grandson however, I refused to give it and stopped the call immediately. The only reason that I stopped the call is that a week before, I had seen the tubs at my local Michael's Craft store and thought that I would really only like one tub to try before I bought 4-6 tubs. I am sorry that you were not as lucky. The product is very fun for my Grandson. After reading your story, I think I will stick to buying in the store. One more thing.... I did not pay any S&H.
