Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I had initially singed up with Thryve for a three month contract, and did not wish to continue beyond that. After my third month was up, under the pretense of auto-renewal, which was singed in my contract over 5 months ago, and with no email or any other form of communication that would happen got charged for a fourth month. After a lot of back and forth and complaints, it was established that I would not be getting a refund for a month of training, I did not initially want. Having left with no option to cancel, I have begrudingly decided to continue and that where the problems starts.

Since July, I have not had a single consistent personal training since they are in and out of their job like a revolving door! I have trained with four new trainers each week and I cannot even seem to keep track. When I called them this week to ask if there was a way to just cancel my remaning sessions since they cannot seem to keep their emloyeed on staff. The helpless customer service agent listed some names of trainers he says works out of the gym location i go to. I have not seen or heard of any of their names. He then says choose a new primary personal trainer. What a SCAM! a new primary personal trainer? Are you listening to me: Thrybe can't keep their employees and how I can I choose someone to train me when they wont stick around for more than 2 weeks!!!

He says my other option is to let the sessions expire..So you mean to say I should pretend like someone stole over $200 from me and you are asking me to just forget about it? My other option is to take the shitty, umprofessional, scammy service you provide or forget about it? That's your best response.

If I am help liable for my portion of the conract (auto-renewal) since that's what you used to take (or steal at this point) money from you, then you SHOULD be help responsible for the same contract. I should recieve services like personalized fitness, diet support, weekly/montly check-in from my trainer, like you had promised in your sign-up session. You CANNOT use the contract to YOUR benefit only and leave clients on the lurch. You should be accountable to the same contract and same standards. If I was held liable for auto renewal then you should return me my money for shitty service, and "you can just let the sessions expire, if you are not happy, because we wont issue an refund" is not ethical business practice! That is stealing from hard working people and you should be ashamed of yourself for such a service!

If you take over $200 from someone atleast provide them with good service, and if you are not able to do that and give them their money back. You need to do something about your unethical business practices and stop taking money from people for service you cannot provide and above all stop making false claim to sign people up!!!!!!!!
