TNT Specialties - Cody Ammons Quality Window Tinting Rip-off Mesa Arizona
TNT Specialties Window tinting is a rip-off. The owner Cody Ammons claims to be an expert in tinting but the only thing he seems to be an expert in is giving his customers the run around.
Took my single cab truck in to have it tinted. The guy, Ryan, who actually did the work did a fantastic job. I was very happy until Cody calls me to tell me that my drivers side window will not work. 3 hours and $98.00 later the window was fixed and I was on my way.
I was so pleased with the work Ryan had done on my truck I called to make an appointment for my new car to be tinted. I speak with Cody and schedule an appointment later in the week. I drive my truck to work and live 36 miles from the tint shop. So I make an appointment leaving myself enough time to get off of work, drive home, pick up my car and drive back in. I arrive at the tint shop 15 minutes early and can see Cody is not accomplishing anything.
I'm told my car will not be able to be completed today and can I reschedule. I was very happy with Ryans work so I reschedule. One week later after driving home after work and changing cars I arrive at the tint shop and Cody had written in the wrong time for my appointment. So I'm told what would have taken two hours is going to take four.
So I wait. Much to my dismay Cody is the one tinting my car. He is very rushed and the outcome shows it. I wait a couple of weeks just to see if there will be any changes to the tint. Huge bubbles under the tint on ALL the windows he tinted. I call and ofcourse Cody is apologetic and wants to see everyone happy. He informs me that during the time he did my windows there were people walking on his roof which contaminated the tint. I offer to bring my car in so he can see but he tells me that won't be necessary since he has fixed three other cars that had the same problem as mine. He informs me he will remove all the tint and re-apply new tint at no cost to me.
I schedule an appointment when I know he is not there. I really want Ryan to do the work.. I bring it in first thing, talk to ryan and show him ALL the windows.
Two hours later I get a phone call from Cody telling me that there are only three windows that are contaminated.
Very long story short, I go to pick up my car and take Cody outside to show him all the windows were contaminated. He begins to shout at me in the parking lot, that it is his business and he will run it any f***ing way he wants to.
That no tint business can tint without bubbles, a lie, Ryan did a very good job on my truck, that I am just anal, I almost b***h slapped him. He would not give me my keys saying he was going to remove his product off my vehicle. Ryan finally came out and I told him he should work somewhere else and that if Cody did not give me my keys I would call the cops.. .
Buyers beware.......... Cody Ammons is not a professional and if you do choose to go there request Ryan he does awesome work.

Dear Rip Off Report and All readers, The report you read in regards to our company is very much over exagerrated.Our company and its reputation will far exceed the false and over exagerated clams made by this 1 unhappy customer. We have a very firm and strong reputation for being experts in our industry for over 25 years. This customer had all of her problems adressed and satisfied. We could not help that her 1990 ( 18 year old truck had a broken window when she brought the vehichle to our shop.When you read the end of her statement she says if you are to use our company to have our manager Ryan do the work. Why would you recommend anyone in our company to do any work if you were so unhappy with our service. I would like the rip off report removed for I feel that it is subjected for our attornies to review. The first thing we never did within our company was to have any disrespect toward any person , customer or non-customer. To report this with out having the company you wish to make these false clams availible to the public needs to have some guide lines before posting such false and damaging information. I am certain that my rights have been violated by your website and the people responsible for running it.
