Worse car guying experience of my 43 yrs purchasing automobiles. Long story short, I paid an extra $800 to have a few items my shop (3 locations in town, so not a backyard mechanic) had found that needed to be fixed when they gave it a thorough once over. One of the problems was overheating of which I took it back to Toyota 3 times to have fixed; (using 3 of my 4 AAA tows for the year in one month). After getting it back for the third time is continued to leak coolant/overheat and constantly in need of filling. Therefore, I took it to my shop where per them although Toyota had fixed the water pump, there is no way in hell they wouldn't have noticed it had done damage elsewhere as a result of it overheating. Consequently, the heads were blown along with several other related repairs due to this malfunction; leaving me with a $5400 repair on a vehicle I just made my first payment on last week. I've called their service department and still no response to my calls, so my next step is to sue them in court, If anyone else has had issues with Toyota West and would like to join me in a Class Action suit against these folks, just let me know, and we'll take them down together.

If you bought this car "As Is", then you have NO case! The disclosure sheet would have informed you the car came with a warranty or was as-is. Under an as-is deal, there is no free warranty service. You can forget any C/A action as well because there simply is no case under an ad-is deal. Of course, if you do have a warranty and they refuse to work for it, that might be another story.
