I had already purchased a double minute gold card , just bought a 400 minute refill card which gave me 800 minutes . I had been with the company so long that my new card service date was in 2016  About 8 months ago my tracfone died .I called the company to find out where I could get service for it because I had a lot of business contact numbers on it.They said that they do not have anyway to fix and or retrieve the numbers off the phone (the one they sell ) So i got an identical phone from a friend who had never used it, the plastic was still on it . When I went to get it activated and was told that I would Have to have a new sim card and would take 11 days to arrive !!! I then explained to then that I had a business to run and needed a phone now !!! I then had to go buy another pre paid phone ( from another company , (VERIZON) works perfect by the way !! ) when I received the new sim card and went to activate the new phone they told me that I would have to buy a new double minute gold card to get double minutes again. I understood that I would have to do that .When they activated the new phone with the new sim card my minutes went from 730 down to 410 with the new refill card date of 03/11/2008 !!!!  This was the year 2009 !!!! I had tried to on multiple phone calls to tell them that they had made a mistake. I was then reassured that the problem would be fixed and then I would have to buy a new gold card . I was told that I would have to buy another card ($20.00) for them to activate the phone and put the minutes I had on the old phone back with the other minutes purchased. I did and the 410 minutes were taken and only the 120 minutes registered on the phone They had never fixed the problem , I will not use the tracfone because the issue has not yet been resolved . In waiting for the problem to be resolved , keep in mind that I didn't have to buy another minute card till 2016 !!! At this time I had been talking to them for about 2 hrs in calls . I again after waiting for them to resolve the problem (not using their phone because they did not make it right) had started calling them again . since 01/04/2010 I have been on the phone for another 5 hrs with 3 different Interaction numbers , talking to corporate because the underlings just don't do anything but waste your time !!!  I have to call the loss prevention department between the hrs of  8am-6pm  The last person I talked to I gave my new cell number to because I work for a living and do not have the time in the middle of the day to wait hrs on hold to try to get this taken care of . He said ( at corporate ) that he would take care of this for me on 01/07/10  keep in mind I started this on , for the second time on 01/04/10  and never called back !!! Now they have stolen $80.00 and countless hrs .I am now pissed to the point that I am here to file !!! I am on a mission now !!! you can do all of this on your computer !!! This is what you have to do !!!  A cell phone falls under the category of wireless communications , witch is by the FCC (FEDERAL COMUNICATIONS COMMISION)  FILE A COMPLAINT with the FCC ! Then look up the  " ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA " AND FILE A COMPLAINT !!! Then look up "THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE" for the state that you live in , and FILE A COMPLAINT !! Then hope like HELL that an ATTORNEY will see all of the complaints and take on a "CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT" for all of us who have "FILED A COMPLAINT" !!  TO TRY TO GET BACK WHAT WAS STOLEN FROM ALL OF US !!!
