Prior to ordering a transmission form Transplant transmission, I talked to Vincent who assured me they had 3 of the transmissions I wanted in stock and they would ship it the following day. After Transplant transmission charged my credit card the full amount, Vincent stated on Friday (the next day) that they didn't have a transmission in stock but would have one on Monday. Vincent gave me the same story each day I called in and I finally told Vincent at transplant transmission to cancel my order and issue a credit on my credit card. Vincent stated that they don't issue credits but I could have a credit toward some future transmission. What?????? Transplant transmission took my money would not cancel my order and would not refund my money. Transplant transmission is a rip-off. they lie about any inventory they might have, fail to ship the transmission, fail to cancel the order, fail to refund as requested. check the BBB (better business bureau) of the greater Phoenix, AZ. The BBB rating for transplant transmission is an "F" for numerous unresolved complaints.

I had a recent experience with this transmission repair shop in Tempe, AZ.  Their prices where on target and they were able to get me in with a free tow the day my car broke down.  It was a Friday, but the job was complete my mid afternoon Monday and I was able to pick it up.  They were the most affordable price and install ; which is why I used them.  I asked a lot of questions because I had read the reviews and I wanted to make sure I was covered, what the warranty covered and how long, what the core charge process was.  They informed me they only deal locally in AZ now to keep better quality control over any incidents.  I really felt safe in my decision to use them and I am glad I did and was able to save a few bucks...

Apparently this company is very aware of the issues listed online and has made some measure to correct the problems and improve service.
