We purchased a total package from Travelocity online.(Plane tickets, rental car, and hotel) Flying from Atlanta to Dallas Texas. Whenever my husband arrived in Dallas and went to the Hertz rental counter, he was told that he couldn't receive a rental car because they go by credit score! He proceeded to tell them that we had already paid for this trip and rental was included,plus the taxes and fees. They told him if he wanted a rental car,he would have to pay an additional $200.00! I called Travelocity and the broken language speaking gentlemen got Hertz on the line and I was on the line as well. Hertz told him that they would not give my husband the rental because they go by credit scores! I told Travelocity that $436.00 has already been taken out of my bank account for this trip! They told me they couldn't do anything about it and that they don't give refunds. My husband was stuck in the airport for 7 hours, no ride to the hotel so he didn't use that either. Finally a gentlemen came up to him and told him about a charter bus that might could get him to San Antonio which was 5 hours from Dallas! He was to appear in court at 9:00am the next morning with no rental car and no hotel! He had to pay this bus fare, pay for another hotel room in San Antonio, TX, find a ride back to Dallas after court, find somewhere to stay, missed the plane, couldn't get one for 4 days later and Travelocity has our money for the plane, hotel, and the rental car!
