Tricon Construction Ltd. Excellent roofers but very poor customer service and follow up for repairs Randolph, New Jersey
Tricon is an excellent roofing company in Randolph. They are certified GAF Timberline roofers. The only downfall I can see with this company is their terrible customer service. If you have a problem, you can forget about them coming to your house to follow up or see what the issue is; they gave us the round around for months and stopped returning our calls. We had another roofer come out and it was a such a simple issue and simple solution.
Tricon could have easily come out and made this minor repair but they chose to be bitter because they are still owed $345,000 from our contractor who went bankrupt. Tricon is apparently penalizing us for our former contractor's mismanagement of funds. Our general contractor subcontracted jobs to Tricon and others but walked away without paying it's employees.
If you have an issue with GAF shingles you can forget that too because GAF blamed Tricon for bad installation and they wanted no part of letting us exercise our warrany rights on a 30 year roof. GAF in Wayne treated Tricon unfairly, Tricon treated our family like crap & now I am writing this. Be aware of a company's post customer service because it can void a warranty or the workmanship. Nevertheless, Tricon was praised by our new roofer and found no problems with the workmanship. Tricon's office needs a more professional staff to handle the business end.

Get your facts straight before responding. Our loan is paid in full - Tricon was a subcontractor. It's not our problem they were not paid. They need to settle with the contractor. We sleep very well at night. Tricon had a crap attitude...it's no wonder he is your exhusband.

Ken stark is my x husbandand has always been a honest and fair man. but if your gc owes him over a quater of a million dollars i dont bnlame him for not helping you!! Its just not right!! And was never paid for your roof!!I hope you can sleep at night owing someone that much money..

Tricon is pathetic. It's too bad they did nice work years ago but their attitude and behavior will be their demise. They responded to the Better Business Bureau and wanted a pity party. They were not paid by the original contractor that subbed the job to them and Tricon is now penalizing the customers. Tricon should have filed the proper paperwork with the bankruptcy courts to get their money back from contractor. In an email from GAF (Wayne) they indicated that Tricon "must have done shoddy work." The roof has a thirty year warranty. I guess karma will one day bite both of these companies in the behind.
