True North Transport ran into my truck and will not pay for the damages Delta Junction, Alaska
As I was pulling into a local grocery store in Fairbanks on the afternoon of October the fourth, a driver of one of True North Transport's vans did not pull out far enough and hit the back of my truck. We swapped all the vital info, driver insurance etc... but I did not file a police report because the damage was under a thousand dollars to my truck.
I was filing a claim with their insurance company, when the owner of the business called me and offered to settle without the insurance company. I agreed, and set up a time to meet as they are located in a town roughly one hundred miles away. On the day that we were supposed to meet, the owner e-mailed me and informed me that she had changed her mind and was going to let the insurance company handle the claim
Since then I have not been able to contact the insurance company. I have left messages, and they call me back AFTER close of business so that they cant talk to me.
I just want the damage to my truck fixed as they were the ones who hit me.
