I purchase the daily deal via Groupon for 149.00 for 4 hrs of moving. The team sent  by Twins Movers,  was dishonest and overcharged me. The team showed up 2 hrs late. Then the onsite team lead (Kevin) told me they had to charge me 85.00 for the other guy, after the move coordinator (Isaac) @ home office & I arranged for 3 guys @ 3 hrs sine it was a 1 bedroom apt. He told me Groupon didn't disclose all the true charges and neither did Isaac. He said my move would be 600.00  additional! But he would work with me and charge me a flat rate! I said I had to call the main office, and he said, this is what main office does for all the Groupon customers. He said they sold the deal for 149.00 knowing they would be charging all the customers the real price. He said if I didn't buy the Groupon, it would have been a better deal @ around 350.00 flat rate.  They used no boxes of their own, didn't move my pictures, lamps, or  any unboxed items. They used 9 blankets, 4.5 rolls of tape, half roll of plastic wrap (im not sure if it was full when they started the roll) and and charged me 450.00! And the team lead demanded tips for the  workers & himself and that i give them a good review because it was Isaac who was not honest with me, and he was trying to help by charging me less than he was supposed to!

Isaac @ Twins was forewarned when I booked my move in May that my sofa needed to go out the window. On move day the team lead tells me I should be charged 300.00 but he would waive it & was sorry home office didn't tell me. I moved 18 doors down on the sane street, and he says I should be charged a flat rate distance, but he would waive that too since Groupon nor home office  disclosed the fee.

They also did damage to my wall, ceilings, and windows and didn't tell me the true extent. He said it was a minor ding on the wall that needed painting. When I went up see to see it was much more than that. To add insult to this injury, he told me it would take 2 hours to unload the truck, and it would be 149.00 per hr OT. I helped them unload, it took 37 mins. He blamed this entire fiasco on Groupon & his main office, the whole time selling me a bill of goods as if he were on my side. The other team members were helpful and diligent (one even returned my lost phone).

I have been in  with both Norman & Isaac  of Twins Movers several times over the last few dats and I am still awaiting a resolution.  I have attached photos of the damages done to my place in emails I sent to them. Isaac called the team lead, Kevin, and he argued his price was fair and then they hung up on me. Refusing to prove their rate calculation.
