Two Men and a Truck - North Broward Two Men and a Truck North Broward/Boca Raton, FL Free Estimate - NOT SO FREE Coral Springs, Florida
We decided to move and called Two Men and a Truck for a FREE estimate when we were moving from Coral Springs further north. They insisted on a credit card number before they could do the estimate. ( yes, in hindsight I realize now I should have just hung up on them) They asked when we were moving and where to etc. We got an estimate decided it was to high and told them that we did not want to use them but thank you for the FREE estimate.
Next month there was a $95.00 charge - called the company even spoke to the sleezy owner who insisted we booked them and then canceled them and thats why we gave them a credit card. He insisted they never get a credit card to do an estimate (really that's not what your office staff said - apparently they always get a credit card number prior to giving an estimate)
We objected to the credit card charge, they rebutted and they insisted we hired them and authorized the charge (which we did not) we objected again, they rebutted again - by the 3rd round they finally got paid the money for the FREE estimate. It was just not worth the argument and time spend on them, and I gave up, which is really what they wanted and probably how they keep these charges.
So hooray Two men and a Truck Coral Springs - you won and got your FREE estimate money but I will tell everyone I can about your despicable practices and how you steal money from unsuspecting people by lying and cheating.
Do not even call them for a free estimate - its not worth the stress.
