Two Men and a Truck Raleigh NC Ripped off and hustled by movers! Raleigh North Carolina
I hired Two Men and a Truck to move my 3 bedroom 2,000 sq ft home. With the entire home furnished I was quoted approximately 6 hours of work for the 3-man crew. The day before my move I moved all furniture except for three bedrooms (1 room with only a disassembled bed) and my washer and dryer. The movers were 45 min late with no phone call. They took 4.5 hours to do what should have amounted to at most a 3 hour move. I paid for a 3-man crew in order to maximize efficiency and ended up paying almost twice what I should have. Also, the workers took a 30 min lunch break that I paid for. I ended up having to move a few of my own furniture items because they were so slow. They caused damage to many of my walls including long scratches and deep gouges. They broke my laundry room door and my washing machine overflow tub. Furthermore they incorrectly connected my washing machine resulting in a flooded laundry room. They did not properly reconnect my master bed. Overall I am very dissatisfied with the service provided and would not recommend these movers to anyone. They need to improve training and professionalism.
