I called several moving companies to get estimates/hour. Many companies were charging 3 hour minimum but Susan from Two Men and A Truck (Marietta GA AKA Wavin Enterprises) gave me $140 and $90/hour for every additional, so I chose Two Men and A Truck. Susan confirmed the pricing over the phone 3 times and even told me that "in case you need to use our service for additional hours, the rate will go down to $90/hour". So, I really believed her. The day of move, one of the men had to use our bathroom for #2 and stopped up our bathroom. So, I had to mop and disinfect spending nearly 30 minutes. In mean time they were finished with our move and they asked me to sign the paperwork. You know what, I was so disturb and was not alert and could not check everything I was supposed to. After they left, my husband told me that they did some damage on his house (door frame) and the guy wrote it down, but after carefully reviewing the paperwork, we didn't find the report, plus they charged me $140 for all three hours. Well, I thought that Susan who I thought was a nice person would take care of that, but when I called her, she denied even quoting me $90/hour for every additional.
I checked my estimate and it actually said "Estimated cost $280.00 560.00 plus valuation charge (optional, per Georgia Public Service Commission regulations)". As for the damage, the person I spoke to have a nerve to say "damage on the door frame? Oh that can only be caused by going in, but not going out" and denied our claim. When I explained that since one of the men made a mess in our bathroom, I couldn't pay attention to all the paperwork but it actually happed. He said "I don't know if your bathroom had some plumbing issue or what, but sorry to hear that" like it was our bathroom instead of their man. I was very disappointed by their service. I wasn't going to say nothing about the bathroom incident to avoid any embarrassment to the guy since he was actually a nice person, but since Susan and the other guy was not very professional handling this issue, I decided to report this. So, if you need to use them, please be careful. If they give you a quote over the phone, be sure to get a written quote that agrees. Oh, one more thing, I realized that they were not BBB accredited company, and had some claims filed against them but after talking to Susan and how she explained "too much cost to be a member" and all claims were resolved, I thought that it was okay, but obviously not.

In response to this customer, we DO NOT offer a $90 rate. This customer was not told that the rate would change at any time by the rep (Susan) who she booked it with or anyone else at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, Marietta, GA. We have no idea where she came up with this. She was quoted $140 per hour with a 2 hour minimum charge, just like every other customer. It was clearly explained to her that after the 2 hour minimum charge, the rate is STILL $140 per hour for any/all additional hours worked until completion of the move. We have never had this particular issue before, out of the thousands of satisfied customers and professionally done moves over many years. It's unfortunate that people like this will fabricate a story in an attempt to get money back and post it on sites like this, grossly misinforming the public. We are a legitimate, professional business that provides quality moving services. If you are reading this, please know that you can have full confidence in your choice of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, Marietta, GA despite this customer's claims to the contrary.
