We used this company to move our household goods to our new place. We had used them before and when they moved our house, they were able to get it done in under 3 hours total. We had everything packed up and broken down except for 1 bed. This time it took them 5.25 hours with less stuff to move. When I called them to talk to the manager, Lisa, on moving day, she had indicated that she scheduled 3.25 hours for our move. We had planned on 3.5 hours for the move. After I spoke to Lisa, the movers started to hurry up instead of taking their time. The move ended up taking 5.25 hours.
When we questioned the additional time, we were talked over and spoken to in a rude, unprofessional manner by the manager, Tim Ackerman. He also said that he didn't care about the 3% of unhappy customers and also mentioned that their calls were recorded. This was never told to us up front so they not only rip people off, but they illegally tape their calls. He told us that he would call us back at the end of the day - he did not. We had to track him down for answers - to which he was very rude and combative. No offer of any compensation or discount at all - he did nothing to try to fix this situation.
We had used this company before and had been very pleased with their service. This was back in 2012. Their management now is horrible and does not care about customer service at all. This was a very disappointing experience - we were ripped off.
