Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I called Two Men and a Truck and said I had a 3/2 apt that is crammed wall to wall. How long will it take and can you give me an estimate? I was told it would take 6-7 hours for three men and you are looking at between $600-$800. I was shocked and told them it took military movers two days to move me. I was assured that "these guys know what they are doing" Over the course of the next two weeks, I called repeatedly to make sure that was a correct guesstimate. Finally they humored me and sent a rep. over to my apsrtment and he told me the exact same thing.

I had started packing some of my things- movies, books, some knick knacks. I had about 80 boxes that were sealed and labeled agaist the entrance wall. When the movers got there at 8am, they moved those boxes first into the truck.

Around lunch, I made the comment "This seems more like a $1000 job (which I budgeted for) than a $700 job. How in the world are you guys going to get finshed in 7 hours?" The mover informed me "This was a two day move and where you are at right now you are already up to $1800!" And before this point -the third mover had conveniently left- I had no idea he left since i was in the living room with the Kitchen/ living room mover.

I freaked out. I called the company who advised their movers to stop packing up at that minute and get everyhting that was up into the truck. They packed up and I went in my car to the office. At the office they told me if I didn't pay the $1800 I wouldn't get the stuff on the moving truck. After an hour of fighting, the cops were called and they told me if I wanted my packed things I needed to pay. Two men and a Truck "graciously" said I only had to pay$1500 to get my packed stuff moved into my new place.

I paid the $1500 even though I couldn't afford it. I had budgeted for $1000. I asked about the other stuff left in my apartment and I was told I could call them and book a second day and another move. My 15 year old daughter ended up making 12 trips and moving the rest of our stuff ourselves.

I filed a BBB complaint but Two men said they were filing criminal charges against me (coz I filed Fraud with my credit card) so the BBB wouldn't complete the arbitration motion. My credit card company agreed with me by the way. I was only charged $1000.00. I have yet to see any charges from TWO Men and A Truck filed against me. So they lied to me AND to the BBB! Beware!!!
