November 16, 2002, my Sprint bill included a bill from UKI Communications. I immediately called UKI Communications, 1-800-433-4518, to find out the reason for the bill. I was told the bill was in error but I needed to pay it and that I would be refunded, a credit would appear on my next Sprint bill.

December 16, 2002: No credit on my Sprint bill. Calls to UKI Communications resulted in an explanation that the computer system was down.

January 16, 2003: No credit on Sprint bill. I called Jan. 7, 8, 9, 10, 13 and was told each time the computer system was down. On Jan. 13, it was explained to me that a credit had been issued, transaction #**712, and that it takes 60-90 days for the credit to show up.

February 16, 2003: No credit on Sprint bill.

March 16, 2003: No credit on Sprint bill.

I call on March 24. My account indicated a credit had been applied to my account but had not been approved by Accounting. The UKI representative indicated I would need to call her supervisor on Wednesday. I got the supervisors name.

March 26, 2003. I called UKI and asked for the supervisor by name. I was told she was not available and wouldn't be available for hours. I asked for the manager's name and phone number. I got the name and was put on hold while he found the direct line for the manager. He never came back to the phone and I hung up. Before he put me on hold, he told me it could take another month beore the refund would be approved by Accounting, if it were approved. I asked him to add a note that I was a very irate person who was near having a stroke about this erroneous bill and the lack of a response from UKI.
