Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was contacted by this company to be employed. i was contacted by a young lady named Angelique Piccolo (recruiter)... She is a ex-news castor who wasn't good enough to continue (google her name)... During the interview I was told that I the requirerments that they were looking for, and they were looking for someone to start the beginning of the year... during the interview I ask very pointed questions:

(1) What is the retention of employees?-(We have reps who have been here for many years)-she Lied!!!

(2)What is the commission based on?- (setting up free two week trials that usually close 85% of the time)-she lied again

(3) How long is the training period? ( Two weeks and it will be paid-$500 weekly)-Liar!!!

I was told that a company car would be available to those who hit their numbers for the week and monthly... I asked how many of the reps are using the company cars... She spoke in general "many"- The question that i asked should have set of red flags!!!

I decided to give it a try and started on monday- First day of training; which consisted of the District Manager (Michelle Prue) and the so-called business guru the president (Nick Boncci)... Also joing the meeting was another gentleman who had just started, Amy (coffee depatment); Chris (First Aid); Tom (offsite shredding)

They added nothing to the meeting or training... Nick address the meeting and didn't teach anything except how he owned a water company in Texasthat went public 20 years ago (name was never given); and that Ultimate water has been in business for 9 years in Florida and that they are the largest in the business (LIAR!!!) What a total wait of time... Oh! we had computer training that came up with stat and figure that were not supported by anyone or anything wait of time...

the second day I came in a little early to see what happens in their sales meeting...It was the DSM screaming at us about sales... No one in the room had made a sell or a trial (big goose eggs) Michelle (DSM) start telling stories about old sales sucesses; and possible trial accounts.... After doing a investigation work speaking to the sales force, I discovered that no one has been their more that a few months... and no one has a company car or computer (binder with old POS material) What a Joke!!!and I fell for it....

Michelle paired me with one of the reps (David) she informed me that he was the lead sales rep for the district... this guys had been employed by the company for four days and had not made a trial placement or a sell.... What a joke!!!! So I decided to see what this is all about so I agreed to work with him; we drove seperate cars and headed to an area that i though would be good, he didn't even know what to do... He was to coach me? he had no sales skill except the ones this company forced into his head... A lot more to talk about but not enough room on the page

Please beware of this SCAM!!!!! Do Not waist your time; you may need it later in LIFE!!!

"Grammer"

Those who criticize another's 'grammer' should have a better command of proper GRAMMAR.  Perhaps this is part of the problem with this company.  The BEST and the BRIGHTEST will definitely find greener pastures elsewhere.

To comment on previous posts:  it would be 'statistically' almost impossible for previously unrelated persons to have similarly "bad' employment experiences without there being 'some' truth to their accusations.

I worked for this company as well, for three weeks.  Having been involved in professional sales for much of my career, I found myself looking for work after being laid off due to the economic downturn.

I was promised HOT leads, a turnkey program that couldn't lose, and $750 per week in training pay, plus car and cell phone allowances. What I got was leads that were often years old (many of them had rejected service previously), a corporate culture and sales system based on deception and deliberately inflated statistics, and a pay structure that reverted to minimum wage if you didn't convince 3 businesses to take on the free* trial in your VERY FIRST week. No product training to speak of, no support (front or back end); here are your brochures, go sell. By the way, we're out of professional, color brochures. Take these black and white photocopies with you true story). Then we get into the obscene numbers you'd have to post to get the car and cell money. In my tenure, not one front line rep qualified. There were only two people left on the sales force who were there when I started.

Now let's talk about pay issues. They pay a week behind, so after busting my a*s for two weeks, I looked forward to getting paid for it. A "communication error" lead to my paperwork not being filed with the corporate office in time. I was informed that I would be paid the following Friday. That was unacceptable to me, and I made it very clear that I had the resources at my disposal to initiate legal action. I had to drive up to Broward to get that check. Finally, they attempted to withhold my last paycheck. After I was terminated for not producing (which very few people do), I was still owed a week of pay. After trying to be nice and getting nothing but the runaround in return, I had to make the DM aware that I knew of their reputation and that, once again, I was fully willing and able to take legal action. I firmly believe that that was the only reason I got that check mailed to me.

The only way I think they make money is by the sales managers poaching the warmest leads from people who give them an honest effort and succumb to the inevitable. On most of these forums, you have the occasional response and threat from a current employee. There's a VERY good reason that their posts are outnumbered as badly as they are. This is not a "promising opportunity"; it is a fraud.

...So which is it Mr Dee, Donald Don Hood , are we a rip-off or not. How is it that your opinion changes so frequently. In your first allegation you claimed "two weeks free labor". Its obvious that your math is just as bad as your grammer since you only worked two days as you restated/clarified your initial LIE. You went on to denounce people who take their employment seriously and work more than two days before they give an opinion. Yes, we are, and support, agressive sale and sales people. Which is why we have a combined 25-30 sales reps and yes many of them in cars. It is perhaps because they spend their time working and not blaming others for their lack of sales and /or sales ability. Amy, Chris, and Thom, each with over 15 years experience in their perspective fields are experts in what they do. And by the way it's spelled "newscaster" and as far as I'm concerned the only mistake Angelique made was giving you an opportunity. And as far as "The Guru" is concerned, you sell a company for 22 million dollars first and then speak.

Your apology is not accepted Don and I will recommend that you hire an attorney soon. Clearly you contradicted yourself my friend. You signed NON-COMPETE, NO SLANDER AND an offer letter, which states that you get paid one week behind and you did-you lied about it. You stated that we lied about "company cars" but you did-drive by any of our offices in the AM and find out yourself Don Hood. You slandered our management and our history-SEC and public records don't lie but you did. Our closing ratio is 85% of qualified demos-how did you know different Don? you only worked for 2 days! Did you Don!

You said "Maybe at this time they are working to fulfill all of their promises... Let's hope so!" are you kidding me? Our attorneys will have fun with this. You know they are very resourceful and can subpoena internet and website records.

I have been with this firm for well over two years, and guess what, I also drive a company car and have had continued success throughout. I've grown with this company from a sales rep to Management and financially, have done better than the average professional. So the next time you plan on speaking without proper ground, the only question you must ask is "Would you like fries with that sir".

Only Two Days/since Paid

I want to letRipOff Reportknow that I received a letter from a Law office stating that I have Defamed Ultimate Business Services... In the letter it states that what was reported toRipoff report dated 12/22/2010- was false... To be honest I can not deny or agree, because I was in their so-called training programfor two days...they have since sent me a check and a W2 statement. I know what I was told and that is what I reported.

But since they have fulfilled their promise and paid me, and that I only worked for two days: the statement made could not be verified and so I expressly state that my statements are inconclusive...

Maybe at this time they are working to fulfill all of their promises... Let's hope so!

I felt the need to reply to a few of the comments that have been posted about Ultimate Business Services.I have been employed by the company for about a year and have done well financially as an Outside Sales Representative. Its true when they say that 85% of qualified trials lead to closes.Im one of the many employees who have a company car and have experience the growth of the organization in the Florida market place. From my point of view, the commissions paid on the bottle-less water system and coffee service products are superior to our competition. Ive feel fortunate to work for an organization where the leaders have dedicated their time and commitment to the sales teams success.

For those who are pursuing opportunities with Ultimate Business Services, I encourage you to interview with the company and come to your own conclusions.
