Unitec Servicing KB Midlands Linda Scoffin, Excel Servicing, Tom Scoffin Bogus Dyson Scam to sell Kirby hoover Lincoln Nationwide
Elderly mother in law had Dyson serviced after numerous calls from Excel Servicing in Leeds. Ended up buying a Kirby Vacuum for £2000+, which i know are pretty amazing but she's 78 and couldnt use it. Should have smelled a rat when the Dyson service sheet had Leeds Excel Servicing address and invoice for Kirby had details of one Unitec Servicing in Lincoln. Problems started when we tried to cancel and the attitude was shocking. We rang the number 01522 585851 to be told they are KB Midlands, Kirby shop run by Linda Scoffin. told that its nothing to do with them ring Unitec next door. Rang them, also rang them to be told its also run by Linda Scoffin. Researched the name and surprise surprise.
Was told to ring Excel Servicing who wont accept cancellation despite being within the prescribed timescale. Told I would get a call back from the owner, one Tom Scoffin. Had a call from 07715395919 Tom Scoffin who was so abusive we were all shocked. Turns out these lot have been on BBC Watchdog Rogue Traders for their antics. We got caught short. Beware
