Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We found this company thru Monstermove.com, I checked their BBB report and they were fine. We contacted the company via email and phone. Spoke with Javier and an estimate of our things came to 1850.00. We explained that as soon as we got to Charlotte my husband had to leave the country it was imperative that our things were delivered on May 2, 2005. We told this was doable and just to tell the foreman when he got there and he would make sure that it was done.We gave them a 200.00 deposit by credit card and bookes 4/28/05 as pick up date as we were closing on the sale of our home and our stuff had to be out that day.

Pick up day and they were 2 hours late, we were then told the old well if you go by hte weight it is going to cost you alot more and if I want to go by weight they would have to return to New Jersey and remove the load they had already picked up, so that our things could then be weighed. We agreed to the cubic foot load as the foreman had insured us it was the best deal. At this point we had no choice as we had to move that day and they had already started loading the truck. At this point the foreman also told us that there was no way they could get our things to Charlotte as Promised but not to worry they would be here long before my husband left for his trip.

We had been promised 3 wardrobe boxes free, and had them do some packing for us. In there defense here they did do a wonderful job of wrapping my furniture. However I was charged for what my estimate said I was to wrapped as included. By the end oif the day the truck was loaded and my bill was $3862.00, 505.00 of it was an unlknown factor for packing and supplies. At this point it was told that it would prbably be more like 6-10 days before we had our things. This was a horror for us as my husband is a self employed computer consultant and his computers and monitors were on the truck. He pulled out one computer but no monitor could be found. But the foreman was still telling us they would do their best to get our things to us on 5/2/05.At this point the foreman then tried to extort a 10% tips from us (380.00) I told him I am not paying his salary if he needs more money he should talk tot he owner of the company.

Fast forward it is now 5/14/05 my husband left on 5/9/05 and i am stiing on a lawn chair. I have been sleeping on the dogs bed now for over 2 weeks. I gat nothing but lies when I call. I have been told over 10 times that my stuff is on it's way only to find out it only left NJ 3 days ago. Phone calls are not returned, emails are not answered and I am lied to on a daily basis. All my clothes are on this truck, personal posession etc. I call and call and one excuse after another . Then to try and make me feel bad they tell me about the woman in South Carolina, who packed her medications in her stuff and she isn;t scheduled for delivery until after i get my stuff. I feel for her if she exsists but I need my things.

If any other victim of this company is interested in a class action suit or law suit I am in.

After sleeping on the floor for more then 2 weeks our things finally arrived exactly 3 weeks after they were picked up in CT. 3 1/2 hours later then I was told and a little worse for ware. I am still missing 1 chair mat, 5 boxes and I have one piece of broken furniture. As the movers , who were subcontractors opened the doors of their truck all of my fragile items came tumbling out. The thigns are now here and this may just be a case of a poorly run business and nothing more, had they just done what they were supposed to and answered my questions when I called this would never have had to get so out of hand.

I called and spoke with owner today he was very nice and said thet my things sould be here tomorrow and that once they are here he will contact me to work out some sort of settlement. He gave me his cell phone number to contact him directly . It seems as if he is legit and trying to help me that he is involved we will see what happens and I will update as it unfolds. Let's hope my things come tomorrow and I cang et off the floor. I feel that it is important to post as this unfolds as, it could be an honest mistake. He said he is using a sub contractor to haul the loads on the east coast and that this is the first time he has used this particular subcontractor.

It is now 5/16/05 and I still do not have my thigs and they can't even tell me where they are. Javier has "tried" to get the owner to contact me but he is very busy hiding for customers. Now the answer is they will be able to tell me where my things are tomorrow morning whenthe owner comes in. That I shoudl have my things "in a couple of days" this is rediculous that a company should be able to get away with this.
