United Studios Of America Non-existant Customer Service---No refunds even when photos never recieved!!! Massilon Ohio
10/06/07 I took my 3 kids to get their photos taken at Allen's Supermarket in Springville, UT. On 10/13/07 I went back to pick up the "special" and was offered an additional 12 sheets for $100.00 after being offered the photos at a much higher price initially. The poses were nice, but the quality of the photographs was terrible. The color was very washed out. I was told they could re-print the photos for me, including the special---that it was probably an error in the printing process. I told them I wouldn't pay for the photos until I saw that the problem was fixed. I ended up leaving a $50.00 deposit, which was one of the stupidest things I have ever done. I was told they could have them printed out and back to me in a week. A guy the sales person spoke to at the lab told us that. Anyway, here it is more than 2 months later and I have nothing. I have contacted the customer service department at least 10 times and even spoken with a manager. No one knows what I ordered or even if the color was fixed on the prints. I am always told they will call me back and they usually don't. When they do call me back I have to start over and they say they will pull my receipt and call me back---They never call back!!!
I asked for my money back and they say they can't give refunds because of some copyright law. I have never received my photos from them, so I don't see how copyright law has anything to do with it! Luckily I paid with my credit card, so they are investigating now. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB in Ohio. I will never do business with this company again and will see to it that no store in my town invites them back.
