UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX/ AXIA COLLEGE ONLINE STUDIES DECEITFUL PRACTICES TO MAKE QUOTA/ FALSE INFORMATION PHOENIX ARIZONA
I had enrolled at Axia also known as University of Phoenix online, during my recooperation of major jaw surgery, since unable to talk or travel decided to do something constructive during my time of healing. I was contacted by a student advisor of the name of Marcia Blair told her of my interests and my current situation. I had told her time and time again can not afford to pay for any classes due to my disability, went forward with filing out the FASA information online together, spoke with her several times asked if all of my financial info was inorder and taken care of, she stated yes. The first class was quite useless and did not learn anything, you had to chat with people not about on the subject on hand, was a waste of time also money that the school received on my behalf(ask for records of funds received have yet to receive the information requested). I called my student advisor Marcia Blair told her I wanted to withdraw from school since it was basically a rip off.Since I HAD ONLY TAKEN 4 CLASSES I WAS FREE TO WITHDRAW. I have returned back to school only to find out that this school states I owe them money for what I have no idea. I called time and time again to speak to someone in the finance department only to a get a voicemail and no one returns your (1 866 311 1829) calls, If there are other students who would like to get a class action suit against this school please contact me or an attorney something has to be done. They are ripping people off and getting away with it
