Unleash Solar installed our system in August 2012. After the first rainstorm that winter, our roof leaked. It took them two calls to come out and fix it. They were a no-show for the first appointment, and very late for the second. Second rainstorm it leaked again.Another couple of calls for them to come out and fix it, same issue, no show the first time, woefully late the second time.
Then the inverter fuse blew. Thank God my husband keeps tabs on our energy usage through the SDGE portal or we would not have known until our bill came. Called them and they said they would be there and guess what, they never showed up. This went on for 10 days before they finally came and fixed it. 2 weeks ago, transformer blew again. They said they would come this past Friday (5/9/13) My husband left work early to meet them at the house at 3:30. By 4:30 they were a no-show. BIG SURPRISE! Not! No one called, no one told us they weren't coming ... nothing. My husband spent a good half hour on the phone with the customer service rep, Anjana. She was very nice but she couldn't help us. All she could say, was one job ran late, and then everybody went home when they were done. Are you kidding me?!! Fine... So you'd think that if they were supposed to be here Friday at 3:30, after the job that ran late, we would be their first priority on Monday. Right? Wrong! No phone calls, no updates nothing.
So I called Anjana today (5/12/2014) They have left us hanging our system has not been working for 10 days. Again, very nice girl, but useless. Would not let me talk to Spiro, would not let me get his number, nothing. I threatened that I would do my level best to ruin their reputation through social media. At which point she put me on hold again and assured me that someone will be here in 10-15 minutes. That was an hour and a half ago. Let me add, that here in Southern California, we're having a huge heatwave this week 5/12/14. Temperatures in the upper 90s and 100s. No AC, no solar.
Oh and Spiro's solution the first time we called to get service after the second breakdown? We should've bought a better quality inverter. Are you kidding me?! When we installed the system, not only did they not tell us there was a better quality inverter, they told us that this inverter was warranteed for 10 years. You'd think that something that has a 10-year warranty suggests that it is a good quality product that's why it has such a long warranty. Wrong.
This company is the worst. They are easy to get a hold of and will answer your calls promptly until you sign on the dotted line. And then they dump you like a hot potato. It doesn't matter what your issue or your problem is. You will never get a hold of Spiro the Ops Manager, or Dino the CEO, or anyone who can make a decision ever again. So just now, I went to their Facebook page. There are now two Facebook pages: the one where you can comment or post comments seems to have NO activity on it since last year. Only one customer complaint. They have another page, though, but surprise, you can’t post or reply on their posts. You can only “share” their propaganda. Twitter was a dead end too. Can’t post there except to harass them via replies and retweets. So here I am on RipOff Report and I will be filing a report with the BBB.

Someone did finally show up, after more than two hours and said that the inverter needs to be replaced. The Ops Manager, Spiro, apparently authorized the replacement but they don't know when they will do it. I will update if and when this issue is resolved.
