Uptown Car Spa Ripp Off Houston Texas
I paid this carwash $250 for a 6 month service for unlimited washes to the white tall male that sits in the office managing this place. He promised me 6 months of uninterrupted service and after 3 months he said I had to pay him again for another 3 months. The conversation went like this as I pulled up to get my car wash and was sitting outside waiting for it to be done he comes up to me...
(Uptown Car Wash Mgr) Are you ready to renew for another 6 months?
(me) I am sorry, but I am paid up until August, LOL your kidding right?
(Uptown Car Wash Mgr) No you have been paying me $18 each time you come here.
(me) uhh...No, I paid you $250 cash for 6 months of service do you not remember me coming into your office and paying you cash $250?
(Uptown Car Wash Mgr) No you did not pay me $250 cash or at least it was not me,but you always come inside and pay me.
(me) Are you serious? I have never come inside and paid you each time I come here, I paid you $250 for six months and I even have it written down here see...I paid you on Feb 20,2014 for 6 months of service $250.
(Uptown Car Wash Mgr) Okay if you say so,but you never paid me and the last time you were here you never paid me too, but if you say you paid me, I am not going to argue with you, but your service is up...
He shortly walked back inside after that last statement he made claiming that I never paid him when I paid $250 for 6 months of service and after 3 months he tried to collect more $ from me. What a rip off and I hope everyone out there gets to know how this person operates his business transactions. I have filed a complaint with the BBB at this point and now on here. Please beware and get everything in writing...
