I bought a fuel pump a**y for my 2001 Pontiac GP because the fuel gauge was not reading correctly anymore because of a bad sending unit in the pump a**y. Now the gauge works like it should, but a new problem has come about. When driving for some time, 40 minutes+, there is a loss of power and dies as like running out of gas. Car will not re-start unless you let it sit 15 to 30 minutes. Car runs fine for short trips. The fuel filter was replaced at the same time the pump a**y was replaced. So I know that is not the problem. Contacted the company via their customer support email about the problem and if they could check with the manufacturer if a bad batch of fuel pumps may have gone out. Never heard anything back from them. Sent out another email via their customer support again. Still waiting.  Will give it a few more days and trying calling them directly.
