I attended a seminar in Kansas City, MO with uSight on March 18, 2004, where I had purchased a software disc for $99.00 to build my own web-site and the platinum package for $1995.00. Included with the Platinum Package was: 1 personal merchant account and gateway 5 additional websites 5 additional merchant accounts 1 on 1 training uTraffic I am told that they are no longer offering the 1 on 1 training. The 4 additional websites and the 4 merchant accounts and the uTraffic, has not started yet. The amount drafted from my account was $1900.00 for the platinum package. We were told that if we signed up then at the seminar, the hosting fee's would only cost us $10.00 a month instead of the $30.00 for a monthly fee. USight has not provided the services and/or in a timely manner. The website was not functional until the last week of May 2004, when we were told that it would be completed in about 2 weeks. Since the delay, I have a loss of business revenues and only received 1 order for $21.00 as of todate, January 25, 2005. We were told that you can be computer illiterate and you only had to know how to point and click. In my opinion the disc was not designed for you to design a professional site and it seemed as if it was missing some steps, that left me to contact customer service with a lot of questions. (95% of the time you were on hold for 1 hour before customer service would even answer the phone). I was contacted from a man named Rick, who said that he was calling from the Presidents office of uSight, wanting to waive the hosting fee's for the next 3 months for the delay of getting the site up. As I later talked to a customer service rep. saying that he waived 4 months and that I was actually saving $120.00. I have not received after requesting, any of this in writing and I have not received a contract for the completed web-site. I then was contacted on the phone from Greg Joiner, on March 31, 2004, who said he had received my contact information from uSight. I later discovered after reading uSights privacy policy, in how they have breached their policy when they gave my contact information to The Summit Group when Greg Joiner contacted me. I then was contacted on the phone from Greg Joiner, on March 31, 2004, who said he had received my contact information from uSight and offered me a package for $2695.00, that was to design my web-site, provide links and the site expansion traffic from Links4Trade, direct 2000 hits to my site which I decided to be 300 hits a day until the 2000 were used up, a business coach for 6 weeks, feature the business, show me how to sell my products on e-bay and with the 5 web-sites and merchants accounts I had purchased along with the $99.00 disc, show me how to lease or sell the web-sites. As of today, I have not been coached on how to sell on e-bay and my 5 sites are not up and running. The job I was working at the time, I was scheduled to be laid off April 22, 2004, which we discussed as I sent him a copy of my business plan to let him know where I was with the business. Greg mentioned and guaranteed that if I made this purchase, how I would recover the money spent by the end of the month and with all of this, he guaranteed that I should average 3-$6,000.00+ a month once everything was in place, which they were to get started the following week. The business coaching session started and after the 3rd session, the coach said that he's come to a point where he has to put the sessions on hold until the site was complete which was not functional until the last week of May and he began not responding to the e-mails and phone calls. I requested another coach and about 2 weeks later he was replaced. As of today the site expansion traffic has not started which was to take place after the site was published and I have not received any information about how to sell or lease the sites until this week which was not complete. About the hits. They awarded me another 11,500 hits because they discovered an error. This does not equal the amount that another service provider says I was getting in regards to the unique visitors served. I am unable to gain access to the View Summary Page to make changes and update my products in the warehouse. I just keep getting the run around. This has been a total disaster for me and the business that never got off the ground because of this rip-off and the mal-functioned website along with poor customer service. I personally tried helping Loranda with some of her issues. It seems things did not go smoothly with her for a number of reasons. I do know she had some problems with Links for Trade and since she is the account owner I could not do anything about it. They treat it like a bank does. If you are not the account owner, you do not get to talk about that person's situation. Loranda, failed to mention that she spent $2695.00 and after several months we gave her a $1000.00 refund for problems that had nothing to do with our company The Summit Group. Her problems were directly with Usight and Links for Trade. We no longer work with Usight or Links for Trade either. I hope Loranda feels that The Summit Group did what they could to help her and rectify the situation.
