I was charged twice for linen services even though I did not request this and my room was empty most of the time. I left a $110 cash deposit but was only credited for $100. Now the latest thing is I can't get my $100 cash deposit back because I was scheduled to check out on a Sunday when the office is closed. I was told I would have to drive all the way back to the hotel to get my $100 back but it would cost me at least that much to drive back. If you stay at a Value Place hotel don't be surprised if you get very stressed at all the ways they use to steal your money. You even have to pay for the phone calls so I didn't make any. I have called the Corporate Office about fifteen times but the calls go direct to voicemail and I have not gotten a single call returned. It would be nice if the news media would report this and it would also be nice if the Federal Government would give them a hefty fine because of the way they scam people out of their money. This is my first time staying at a Value Place and they could've had a customer for life instead of spitting in my face!
