I was a resident at this particular Value Place for about 8 months. A few weeks ago I discovered that one of the Play Station games I for when the kids were over had been stolen from my room. I notified the safety attendant immediately and informed him of the missing property and asked if a report could be done and I also contacted the corporate office and asked that a complaint be submitted concerning the issue. This was on a Saturday no one in management got back to me until Monday. When Monday came the Michelle Prad, GM spoke with me and asked if I would give her a couple of days to conduct an internal investigation to find out who had been making entry into me room. On Thursday she informed me that the key log on my door showed three persons having made entry into my room myself, Michelle's key, and the house keeper. She also told me that Value Place corporate had contacted her and nothing was to be done about my stolen property that Value Place was not liable. Later Michelle's attitude changed in a major way towards me and it all came to a head when she stood at room door recently and verbally harassed and disrespected me. After the confrontation I immediately contacted the corporate office and issued an additional complaint on her concerning her behavior. I was assured that someone from corporate would be contacting me back. This new incident was this past Friday and today Tuesday June 10, 2014 I was contacted my Michelle on my cell to come by the front desk before the close of business to pick up some information. What I received was I letter signed by her stating that come Thursday June 12 I would not be permitted to renew my room that I would need to vacate by 11am. Her harassment has placed an unnecessary burden upon me as I have a 730 medical appointment at the VA Thursday morning and yes I am a honorable disabled marine veteran. Also to date I have yet to be contacted back by Value Place corporate office. It is amazing to me how Value Place values it's customers let alone the veterans of this country.
