My husband and I were looking to buy a mobile home to leave close to my family. We looked at several different places and loved a house at HWY 90 homes. They are connected to Clayton homes some how. We were going through the applications and everything we needed to do. After filling out the application (written) the salesperson told us that we not be approved because we weren't established within our jobs. (My husband is a medical discharge army veteran) We told him if it wasn't possible it was okay and we would rent for another year. He told us he would submit the application anyway and see what happens. Well, that is where our headaches started.

He was able to "approve" us for the loan, only to find out later that they forged our typed application to be approve. He told us that the house would be $89,900 but at the closing it was $104,200.

When I lost my job mid 2008 for being pregnant with our first child then my husband lost his for lack of hours they started called everyday 2-3and times a day. When they first called me it was a woman... she asked me if I knew if I was pregnant before we signed to the papers for the house. I couldn't believe it!

It just went down hill from there. We were in a position were we couldn't win. We had traded a 2008temp Toyota tundra for a 2010 Toyota Camry .. they told us if we got rid of the car payment it would lower our income in and payouts and they would he able to do a modification. We voluntarily repossessed our car... then they denied us the modification. WHAT!?!

After they did this, I started to go through all the paperwork I had for the house. This is when I found all the mistakes I stated before. We have been fighting to get this right for two years... with no luck. We have had 2 attorneys.

I know it isn't right but we haven't paid on our note for the 2 years either... we are just needing for someone to listen.

Every attorney we talk to they say we are adults you shouldn't have signed to papers then... well if your a first time homebuyer and the are just throwing paper after paper to sign at closing then its kinda hard.

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else or could have some advice on what to that would be great. We don't have any extra money because our last attorney took it all without succeeding on anything.
