Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
How's this for your morning? You get up, you go into the bathroom to shower for school, you lean against the wall, and BAM you fall through the wall. after you get your balance you look at the wall peices and the inside part is Black.

Well that's the way my son started his day, and my fruitless argument with Home First Insurance began.

I pay my house payments, yes I will admit some have been late. But they get their money! Along with the payment it is worked where the money in escrow pays my insurance. So why won't they fix anything????

First off after calling them it took numerous phone calls and 2 weeks to get a return call. Next an adjuster came out---his words---"Oh I don't think we are going to be able to cover this. It wasn't caused by, Busted pipes being frozen, or sudden act of nature." My response to that, "Oh yes sir, I agree 100%, it was caused by stupidity. Stupidity from your sister company Clayton Homes. This stuff is what is making my kids have nose bleeds, breathing ploblems, and sinus trouble, and you can't get it cleaned up?"They didn't do a d**n thing except send me a letter once again saying they were not responsible. Well bullshit. First off when you build a home, it should be done right, if you finance a home that your associate company builds, then stand behind it, and if I pay my insurance---fix my problem. I have paid a buttload of money into the insurance and they just suck up the money and do NOTHING if the insured needs it.

My husband an I had to go in and rip out all the walls in the bathroom down to the studs, clean everything with a bleach mixture and rebuild a bathroom. We could not afford to do this, I just thank God that we knew how to do the labor ourselves or we still wouldn't have but an empty shell of a room, because we had to get that mold out.

I want to know----WHAT DOES MY INSURANCE COVER? NOTHING I HAVE FOUND SO FAR! WHERE ARE THE PREMIUMS THAT I PAY GOING? WHY DO WE HAVE TO HAVE INSURANCE IF IT DOESN'T FIX WHAT HAPPENS?---Can anyone help?
