Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I first signed the contract with Vector in Nov 2007, but they only started charging me in June 2008, so i asked them when my system first worked, they told me in June 2008 because that was the time i signed the contract, which i never recalled!! I recalled signing it in November 2007, so I asked for the Copy showing i signed it in June or July 2008 and they said they would provide it only for a fee of $25. Never did they waive that charge, never did send the "contract" they had to me showing I signed it in June or July 2008.

Now, I had to leave the home in NC in March 2009 and called them on what to do with the security system, aside from the fact that it is extemely difficult to get hold of the customer service which takes almost all morning for someone to get to talk to you, they told me they would take care of it. but todate, clearly it hasnt been taken care of since I am still receiving bills. I called them up but nobody would return my phonecalls. I tried calling corporate but the lady who took my call said they would return my call after forwarding it to the people in charge, but again, no return calls just bills.

Finally, the billing department called me up and explained to me that I had a contract to fulfill and just like contracts with phone companies, I am bound. I told them, precisely, like phone company contracts, if you are not satisfied with the services, as a customer who pays, we have the right to dispute that charge. and I am extremely disssatisfied because I want to know my options on what to do with security system when I move out of the house but nobody gave me a clear cut answer just "it has been taken care of" which doesnt mean anything in this case.

I told them , I do not know what to do, they will be forwarding it to the credit bureau soon, and it isn't fair for me. I tried settling with them on what I needed to do for the cancellation or what options and I did everything they asked me, for instance, faxing a formal notification to the account supervisor, but then again I receive no return calls, just bills. It isn't fair as a consumer to be treated this way.

Without a doubt, I am thinking this is a scam, they are a security system company, and among all service providers I have, it is extremely difficult to get a hold of anybody there, all i get is forwarded calls to either a busy tone in the end or a voicemail and if ever I get to talk to customer service, they tell me at the end I they would return my call for the answer, but never got that return call just bills. I wonder if my alarm goes off, will there systems detect it? to this day, I wonder.
