Let me tell you a little about vegas.com. We were planning what was supposed to be a pleasurable vacation to Las Vegas, NV but it has turned out to be nothing but a massive headache and complete pain in the a*s. I used vegas.com to book a room at LVH & Casino for August 6-9 and emailed vegas.com with some basic questions I had about my trip, they replied with an email stating that I had already been to, and checked out of my hotel. WHAT!?
I live in IL so I know for a fact that I had not been to or checked out of my hotel. They told me that my reservation was made for June 18-20. I know for a fact that this is completely false! I call there "customer service" line and of course I get what sounds like a call center located in the center of India after being on hold for 36 minutes. I then procede to tell the guy the situation,
he basically calls me a liar and says my booking is not their mistake and there is nothing he can do for me. By this time I am fuming! I send vegas.com and email, they reply with "we can give you a refund of ONE night but that is all. I didnt pay for ONE night, I paid for TWO nights and due to their brainless employees and worthless booking system, I am basically S.O.L. After going back and forth via email with them and getting absolutely nowhere,
I finally give up and go to bed. I filed a report with the BBB and turned it into my credit card company. I will let them refund my money and THEY can go after vegas.com. It just amazes me how these big companies think it is their God given right to screw over normal people and walk away scott free. They picked the wrong person this time! To those of you who have never used vegas.com, if your smart, you will continue that trend. I wish now that I never would have tried then. HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!
