I was lured into the "free trial" based on promises that Velour Eye Cream and Avoir anti-aging serum would give spectacular results and I had 14 days to test the product by paying nothing more than the nominal shipping fee of approximately $4 each which the company charged to my credit card.
The tiny trial size product arrived 8 days after the shipping fee was charged to my card. I used the product for about 7 days and saw zero improvment so called to say that I would be returning the product at which time I was told that my trial period was up and my credit card had been charged a tad less than $100 for each tiny bottle to total slightly under $200. I was shocked to say the least. Nothing I said ("this is trial size not full sze and it's useless" etc) was heard by the stubborn voice on the phone. The company's rep said, basically "there is nothing you can do about this as we had every right to charge you the money, you can't return the product nor will we remove the charge from your card".
I have placed a dispute for their charges with my credit card company.
