VericommPlus, I-Payment, MBF Leasing Credit Card Processing Fraud Calabasas California
In January 2007, I responded to a radio ad for Vericomm Plus, they represented they could save small businesses money on credit card processing! I signed up! They set me up with I-Payment. Everything was fine until May 2007 when I tried to process a sale in the amount of $1700.00. It was declined when I called to find out why I was informed that the amount exceeded my limit of $200.00.
When went back and looked at the agreement that I had signed the average ticket amount had been whited out before it was Faxed to me. I immediately ceased all credit card transansactions and decided to wait six months and then cancel the account. In November I called to cancel the account and was informed that I would have to pay a $250.00 cancellation fee. No where in my agreement is this stated. Today I open my bank info online only to find that the leasing company that Vericomm Plus set me up (MBF Leasing) with charged me 36.88 for property taxes, enraged I called to buyout the lease according to the terms of that contract and was told that the buyout terms not only did not apply, but that I would have to pay the lease in full and a $259.00 early termination fee. HELP!!! The FUN NEVER STOPS with these people.
