I have worked for Verizon Wireless for over 8 years and I have seen this before. I am no longer with the company for personal reasons and I started my own business. I used to work for the presidents office handling cases such as yours.. Executive Customer Relations. I had the authority to over-ride any supervisor, manager, and in some cases the directors (but not often). The type of charges/ calls on your account "can" be traced from the origin to the "actual" billing company. Verizon Wireless is the "passthrough". I would suggets to review every single call for the dates in question and call the land line company that placed the call. Verizon Wireless can assist with getting the land line companies numbers...I did it!. Now in a rare case you may have a cloned number...this is very-very rare and harder to do with the tech used today. I hate to suggest that the calls may be valid but it is possible. I have personally researched calls of this nature and the truth behind it is that the land line companies hide the truth from you in thier lack of disclosure on who actually bills and places the calls for you. Keep in mind Verizon Wireless is "not" a land line carrier. The presidents office in Alpharetta, Ga. can assist. If you have no resolution or explanation on this it is because you got someone who did not want to ask the hard questions and do the leg work to provide a paying customer with the answer to his question.....what the hell happened??? There is an answer.
