VersaDebt/Debt Safe Credit Card Fraud, Debt Relief Scam Marietta Georgia
This company is a complete scam. Contacted me via phone, pressured for credit card info and promised to lower card debt, offered guarantee, and full reimbursement if i didn't save $3000 right away. Gave me website log-in info and promised package w/ contract in 3-7 days. Charged my credit card $990 same day, sent package 3 weeks later. After getting on line and not finding some of the info we discussed on the phone, I tried to contact company via phone number online the very next day. No answer, always busy for 3 days. Tried to contact billing number to cancel. Number went nowhere, just dead space.
Upon receiving my c.c. bill, I immediately filed a dispute of the charges. This was in July. It is now October and they are still disputing with my c.c. company that all money is owed to them. I have not received one service from them, not even a phone call .....how do these companies get away with this kind of fraud?!

GA has some of the toughest laws when it comes to Consumer Protection and Credit Consolidation

GA has strict laws protecting the consumer from Consolidation and Debt Reduction Agencies. Check out: consumer.georgia.gov/00/article/0,2086,5426814_39039081_39267595,00.html I am not sure which model the company you chose to go with uses but it is worth looking into , contact the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs online and see if you can file a complaint.
