Video Only ripoff Beaverton Oregon
Wow! I posted a complaint on Craigslist about my dealings with Video Only and someone sent me to this site. Wish I had known it existed as I would not be in the boat I am in after reading a couple of other posts.
Like another poster, I was not informed of the no refund policy and I am stuck with an $1800 TV that I do not want, I was given wrong information about the availability of the product I really wanted, the delivery was late, the promised waiving of the delivery charges never occurred and above all, the behavior of the sleazebag salesman I had was terrible, but even worse was the store Manager, who was the most hostile and unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in retail. They give you misleading information, they lie, they're rude and and again, the most unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced in a store. This store is to be avoided at all costs.
Once the sale has been made, they treat the customer as though they are the enemy. A costly and foul experience from some foul people. For what its worth, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and wrote a three page letter to the person I have been told oversees all of the Oregon stores. All of this is probably a waste of time, but what other recourse does one have after being treated so offensively after giving them $1850? Spread the word! They need to be stopped doing what they do.
