I took my vehicle for a state inspection to VIP in Rockland. They informed me that my car did not pass and presented me with a long list of required repairs and services needed to get my inspection sticker. They pressured me to make the appointment for the work and order the parts immediately. Their estimate of the work that they said was required was nearly $1000. I decided to get a second opinion as I was feeling manipulated by them and didn't quite trust the estimate. When I took the vehicle to another repair shop the next day, I was informed of one issue that needed repair at a cost of only $200. Since this experience I have heard other complaints about VIP doing this to others on a consistent basis.
