I contacted Visa Enhancement Services again today to inquire about my claim. Under my credit card agreement, Visa says it will cover costs for damages to rental cars not covered by your insurance (your deductible in most cases). After sending them the required information, I received a letter indicating what I provided was not sufficient. Big suprise. So, I provided the additional information. Now, the Police report I provided is said to be insufficient. This is the report provided to me at the time of the incident from the Tucson Police Department. (and, what is specifically stated in the letter requesting additional information.) So, when I asked the less than helpful representative I spoke to at the Visa Enhancement Center, I was told they needed a narrative from the report. What in the world? So, I have contacted the Tucson Police Department seeking a narrative report of the accident. Stay tuned.

After some additional clarification on the type of Police Report they were looking for, Visa Enhancement Services came through with a check to me for my insurance deductible and a check to the rental car agency for their additional fees not covered by my insurance. Thanks for coming through after all Visa.
