Vivendi Games is a big industry leader who struggles financially. If you are considering employment with them, be careful because they might take advantage of you on the compensation. Below I heard a good story from my friend.

My friend spent 2 months of effort doing several rounds of interviews with them and in the end, they threw my friend a low salary number and told "it is not negotiable". What can you do after you spent so much time and energy on this job and they just want to take advantage in the end "nothing! Then after a couple of years my friend finally told the managers in the IT department, Keith Archer and Delmi Sebastian that it is really not so proper to skip that salary negotiation process. Guess what, they get unhappy about it even though it really should be my friend not them to think so.

And what they did next, is really blowing off. Keith Archer, who during a normal conversation personally told my friend he is a revenge type: if someone gets on him, he will absolutely skew it back. He even admits sometimes other people think he is overacting. And yes he did it so this time as well. Because he is unhappy that my friend think he gave a low pay, he did a series of things out of the professional scope to "revenge back" including taking away tasks from my friend to make my friend less important. Put a lot of false claims using business reasons to make my friend a bad employee. And when I initiated to leave the company, they would even try to dcor themselves up by telling others that my friend was let go. Though my friend was the one who dumped them because of low pay and their crazy behaviors.

Now to the most of their disappointment, not only I found a company who is far bigger, more profitable than Vivendi, but also I was paid at the TOP of the market price. Their maniac only end up making my friend better, unfortunately. Worth mentioning is that, Delmi Sebatian, Keither Archer's subordinate, who is after his green card and he follows his boss like a dug. Once he get the instruction from Keith Archer to rumor my friend, he changed his face right away to be against me. And Priti Agrawal, my friend's coworker and lunchmate, also played a good face. She never rejected any task from her coworker even she knew it was a revenge action from her boss. And once the coworker left the company, she immediately played hostility because the coworker is no longer useful to her and it is more important for her to flatter the bosses. Obviously she knew well the benefits over ethics by taking over tasks and cut off the relations with a former coworker.

In summary, when looking for a job, don't just pay attention to its big name. Make sure you get what you deserve. A profitable company is more important than a big name status who give you nothing for real. You should never compromise yourself down for anything secondary. My lesson is a great testimonial that you will get what you deserve if you don't stop looking.
