After finding my resume on the internet, Voyager contacted me with some great news. They told me about a job called "Trouble-shooter for a venture capital company". They told me that with my experience and Alan Ludmer's personal contacts in the Missouri Venture Forum organization I would be assured a six figure income in a short period of time. It would only cost me $3950 to be groomed for this job and I needed to get started as quickly as possible.

However, when I got started my counselor had no idea what I was talking about and could not prepare me for a job that she had never heard of. After a couple of meetings with the salesman and the owner Alan, my counselor was so upset that she quit the company. I received nothing from Voyager except a lot of double talk and lies. I was so confused, disappointed, and embarrassed, that I blamed myself for being stupid and gulable.

I was just going drop this thing until I saw the rip off report and realized that I was not alone. So, I did ask for a refund and was offered $500. I then called the BBB in St. Louis and they said they could do nothing with the complaint because Voyager had offered me a settlement. These scammers have figured out how to allow their 6 complaints at the BBB, still make them appear to be a legitimate company.

That really got to me so I am now, according to my contract with Voyager, exercising my rights to arbitration through the American Arbitration Association. I needed to pay filing fees for the arbitration, which normally frightens most people off. I will let you know how it goes. I hope to be encouraging everyone to fight Voyager after my arbitration is complete. I will be asking for a full refund, so lets see what happens. We must all try to stop this scam company from ripping off anymore innocent and honest people.

The promised me the world and gave me nothing.... Offered a small refund on a $4,900 fee. RIP OFF ARTIST ! They actually modified my disclosure form that stated " did we guarantee a a job for you". I stated your VP sales/placement actually did ! Alan, you'd do anything for a buck, right!

Mr. Ed (Edwin) **** - A great example of why we can't fix everyone's problems

In my over 20 years in the Career Consulting business, I have learned that we can't fix everyone's problems. Although we have helped thousands of individuals realize their career goals, a few we have been unable to help. Why? They have emotional or psychological problems that are beyond our ability to resolve. Mr. Ed **** came to our firm in November 2007 and asked us to help him find a career direction. He was working three jobs and was lost. In hindsight we should have seen a red flag when he wrote in his historical achievements that, All of my past bosses were excited when I left. I was always outspoken about right and wrong and they wouldn't listen to my approaches. We worked extensively with Mr. **** for approximately four months (of his six month contract). We spent considerable time and effort in one on one counseling and testing. We strongly encourage Mr. **** to conduct networking, we even offered personal contacts and to occupy him to networking functions. He refused to conduct any networking, stated that they were all losers. He then accused us of inducing him to become a client by promising him a position as a venture capitalist. This accusation surfaced four months after his start. He made no mention of this offer in his quality assurance documents or in numerous meetings with his career counselor. Mr. **** has nothing in his background that would remotely qualify him for venture capital. At his point we realized that Mr. ****'s issues would be best addressed by other types of professionals. We offered a refund. Mr. **** refused our refund offer and demanded a public letter of apology. We are sorry that we can's fix Mr. ****'s problems, but we can't put the wheels back on everyone's wagon.
