Walmart Store 2923 Billings Montana Not pay for medical for injured child in store Billings Montana
My seven year old daughter was in walmart with her mom looking at little girls jeans. My daughter dropped a pair of jeans when she bent over to pick them up she bumped her face on the bar that holds the clothes.The bar did not have a safety cap and it causes a two and a half inch cut on her right cheek.We notified management filled out an incident report.The ambulance checked her out and we went home.She ended up getting an infection and had to take antibiotics for a week. Walmart's claims management firm in Arkansa contacted us asked how she was doing Then asked if we were going to sue. I told them no. They notified me that they were closing the claim and did not pay for any medical.I went into the store two weeks later an the issue was not corrected. There was fifteen bars that did not have safety caps. It is sad that she will have a scar to remind her that profits are more important than doing the right thing.
