WASHINGTON MUTUAL BANK ripoffSAYING HOUSE ON HILL IS IN FLOODZONE&LOSS OF PAPERS SANTA ANA California
My loan started in in 1989 with MMS Mortgage , And has been sold 3 times.WA. MU. has had the loan since May of 2001. In Jan. of 2004 they send me letters telling me I need flood insurance.
After a month of lost faxes to send them legal papers showing they are wrong, and numerous phone calls I am told it is taken care of!!!! Wrong
They have opened an Escrow account and threaten to add it to the auto deduct of my checking. The checking account is not with there bank. I have requested that they send me what they think my loan agreement says in it.
They will not send me a copy (they do not have one ). Also I have made extra payments and they do not show them. The payments where made before they purchased the loan.
I told them I have statemnts and check stubs to back this up. The pay off date has not been changed they say it will not change, but if you make extra payments it will pay off sooner.
On 3/20/04 I will be talking to an attorney who is a friend to help me out. Reading some of the stuff on various web sites it sounds like there might be grounds for a class action law suit.
They have said I broke my loan agreement Who would of thought that they could be so stupid.

Well I am happy to say I refinanced and payed no closing cost and droped 3 years off the loan.That menas in 7 years the house will be paid off. BUT BUT BUT!!!! wa. mu. says I owe $168 and give no reason for it or what the fee is???? Also theY still sent 2 weeks in a row a letter telling me to get flood insurance THEY DO NOT HAVE THE LOAN!!!!The pay off on the ORIGINAL LOAN loan was off by 6.5 months I had made payments (extra principle ) back in 1999.I asked for back log of 1999-2000 Which when they arived the 2000 log was for someone elses loan YES ALL THERE VITAL LOAN HISTORY AND SS# WAS SENT TO ME.And for MY 1999 they do not show any of my extra payments.I have monthly statments that show them.Now I must try to get this fixed it is a sum of $4693.I just sent off a packet to: The Honorable Larry D. Thompson Deputy Attorney General U.S. Department Of Justice 950 Pennsylvania ave. NW, RM 4109 Washington, DC 20530 And sent a letter to the person whos loan history I recieved.Any one who reads this and has proublems needs to send off a letter to the Deputy Attorney General.This Bank must be stoped from doing this to more people.
