Wells Fargo Bank rip-off! A shoe box would be a safer way to bank! Incline Village Nevada
I have been a customer for a great many years and just recently, I have found that Wells Fargo Banks care more about ripping people off as oppossed to helping people find financial stability. Within in last month, I have been charged $114.00 in overdraft charges with notification weeks later! I found out about my recent overdraft charge when I called to find out what my checking balance was!
For a good year and a half, they charged me a service charge and didn't inform me that I was entitled to FREE checking with this account! Did I receive the money back that they took? No! The ONLY way this company will pay back those they have taken from is if WE, the consumer, find their mistakes and DEMAND payment!
When I spoke to a supervisor regarding the outrageous overdraft charges, all I got was an apology for being an unsatisfied customer! It is a near impossible task to speak with a real person because their base (as with most companies now days)are all done by automated phone! When you actually do get to speak with a real person, they have to in turn transfer you to others before you actually speak to someone who supposedly knows something about your account!
Wells Fargo USED to be a very good bank and a customer friendly bank, but now, they are interested in only what they are getting paid by ripping their customers off!
In order to access your account on line, you actually have to be approved for banking on line! I would NOT recommend using this bank to ANYONE! I feel a shoe box would be a safer way to bank!
