They advertise on the internet with other travel companies about their great competitive fares. They run 10-15% below the competition and sound good. If you get pulled into their lies this is what to expect from the con artists at Wholesale.
1.) A airline confirmation that is a lie or not confirmable. They ask to charge your card in full at that moment. They hope you don't check your confirmation until you reach the airport.
2.) If you call them and complain, they will take weeks with your monies and beg for more time. They come up with all kinds of wrong city pairs and dates, as to fit with their free mileage seats, hoping you'll accept it over the hassel.
3.) You then threaten that you will call your credit card company and then they start hussling. You give them 24 hours to make it work.
5.) They get your seats but you get charged a FEE by the airline for moving around your dates and seats. That's the rub-they lie and you pay double fees!
6.) Finally you figure it out when you go to the airport and ask to have your miles credited to your freqent flyer miles. The airline says no because the flight was charged with miles and they don't have mileage redemptions with miles.
Bottom line-their liars and fakes. They con you with fake confirmations. Then if you catch them they book the flight with miles and move around dates until you make a match. Then charge you what the airlines charges to change days and flights. All done with probably stolen frequent flier numbers! All the hassel and you get no miles either becuase they used miles!!!
