I went to this free Business Incubator Bootcamp of Wilson Luna. I perceived it as a dangerous set up and did some research on him as well. Besides this it was an interesting event and I learned lots, but not because of his small business big profit format.
The set up is a function room in a hotel (for about 100 - 150 people), only the tapwater is free. Volunteers, or better followers have a clear task to get to know about you and if you are intersting enough for their scheme. They wear black and in the function room they are lined up around the sitting area, 'guarding' the entrances. They regularly shoot YES YES to encourage the participants. They are friendly only when they think they can win you over. They give contradictionary information. They cannot make decisions, they need to report head quarters, even to black out a CCV code from bank details. Filling in forms is all about getting your personal information and busness your information while selling you an item.
The boot camp is two days, from 8:15 (registration)/9:00 am till 9pm, with 2 breaks of an hour. Tiredness is weakness and Wilson Luna is running hard on Red Bull light. The last session, repeatedly announced as the best is just an hour of selling his books, DVDs and courses. A DVD series adds up to £5500,00 per serie, special deals are made and you only pay a 10th of the price. Something that comes back in his teachings 1:10 = money : value. The package he presents has a special deal from £9900,00 to £990,00, later a course day can be added for £1000,00.
He never gives any evidence of anything. No evidence that he is a millionaire at all, absolutely nothing. His 5 billionaire coaches have no names, the same for the most leading millionaires he apparently advises. His examples are all famous people (Oprah, Obama, Trump, Paris Hilton), besides the video of the one man without limbs. He plays with emotions and uses/abuses NLP techniques. He tells you literally when you forget something in the room, try look on ebay later, because he would sell it. This was at the start and should have been a sign of what he actually does, stealing by manipulating your thoughts.
The focus is on small businesses. There were quite a few charities and community interest companies, some self employed starters and of course the dollar sign dreamers. Advanced members were placed among newbees in the audience, VIP seats at the front.Only the millionaires are doing something good for society, contributing, while small charities and initiatives who are not rich are being shunned. At the same time he advises to have the revenue in the First World, but expenses in Asia (developing countries). Fair Trade is for losers, and he does not know anything about Social Enterprises, confusing them with Charities. There is no actual real business format he presents, they are only general personal development terms used in a business context. No explanation about the importance of a business plan, accounting, knowledge of the business you run, where to find the right people to network with. Only network is networth, value against money, time is money, focus, take responsibility, etc. All just terminology repeated.
He needs to access your personality to win you over to join his life long membership, become a follower, using Sect like strategies as well. This is perticularly tricky for vulnarable people and you can see them being turned over and get a VIP seat in the front. He is also tiring people out so they will give in and buy in the end. He repeats himself all the time, using the technique, repetition is believing. He avoids critical questions, when you are successful in what you do already (not equal to wealth, but already surfing the waves as an entrepreneur) he ignores you. He is not there to help to start up your business or bring your business to a higher level. He is there to make you a follower with a life long contract scheme, someone that gives him money, idolate him and convince other people to follow him. When people want to stop being a follower, similar techniques and indoctrinations, exclusions are being used as in a Sect. And you will never see any of your money back. Getting in is easy, getting out seems very hard. Never join in is my advise.
I read this online blog with links and research that is useful:http://galinaimrie.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/mover-shaker-millionaire-maker-and.html
Wilson Luna had 3 companies of which were 2 dissolved (one was a cleaning company) in 2007, one Luna Group PTY LTD, is still going, but moved 3 times since 2008 and is now regstered at a private appartment. Luna was an insurance salesman and tied with AXA. It is hard to find any information on Wilson Luna that is before 2006, or not from Wilson Luna himself. His best selling books are not on any best selling list.
A good reminder is that absolutely nothing he claims can be verified.
I only went to one of his free bootcamps, but I have seen enough. I thought they would kick me out, with my repeated difficult questions he could not answer, demands them to anonymise bank details of a friend, which they refused to do at first, the advice I gave them on putting their privacy policy on their forms (nothing is in writing, no singel privacy policy, they only say we a re multi million dollar company you can trust us, while they collect all your details, including full bank details), and advising participants privately NOT to sign up for a course. Note: There is no business address on their forms, only a registration number, online address.
I really thought they would kick me out after this.
He is not there to help your business start up or move on, he is there to enrich himself and no one else, to take money from your pockets. Money that you can better invest in your own business.
Irony: he does exactly what he preaches: with you, the audience/participants. What he tells you to do is happening to you at the same time, by him!
